Old Logo & Website
The old Carolla's website was built on a custom-developed platform that the owners were not able to update on their own. The product photography was dated and needed to be re-shot. The site had an abundance of content and was difficult to shop for products on.
My project partner, Sara Nagy, and I found Carolla's Skin Creme at Whole Foods and fell in love with the product. When we visited their website, it was clear that it hadn't been updated in years. We reached out on a whim to see if the owners were interested in hiring us and they were! We wanted to create a site that they could manage on their own, so Shopify was the perfect platform. We updated their logo, re-shot their products, and re-designed the website to emphasize best sellers.
New Logo & Website
Colorful, but cohesive, nature photography matched the website to the product. Clear, concise, and short copy was added to inform site visitors about the mission and products Carolla’s offered. A white background with hints of blue tied the site to the packaging - making the site feel recognizable to shoppers with product in-hand. The owners are able to update the site on their own as needed, allowing them to be autonomous...something they weren’t able to be before.
